You get your first month of internet free. Full disclosure: I get a free month too, but only after you’ve been an oxio customer for two months. That’s how oxio’s referral program works. Both sides win, nobody’s secretly paying for it, and there’s no limit on how many times a code can be used.
How to use the oxio referral code, step by step
The code goes in at the very end of checkout, and there’s one gotcha that trips people up (step 5).
- Go to order.oxio.ca and enter your address. Oxio checks which lines reach your building and shows you the plans available there.
- Pick a plan. More on which one below.
- Create your account and fill in the usual details.
- On the payment page, find the field labelled “Apply referral or promo code.” It’s near the bottom, after your card details.
- Paste RWWGYAB and click Apply. Typing the code into the box does nothing on its own. If you don’t hit Apply, you pay full price for month one and there’s no easy way to fix it afterward.
- Finish checkout in one sitting. If you leave the page partway through, oxio makes you start over, and the code goes with it.
If you used the direct link instead, the code is already filled in and applied. You can still double-check it on the payment page.
The credit shows up on your first bill automatically. No rebate forms, no calling in, no “promotional period” that quietly triples your bill in month seven. The free month is the whole deal.
Oxio promo code vs. referral code: what’s the difference?
If you’ve been googling “oxio promo code” or “oxio discount code,” here’s the answer: oxio barely does coupon codes. Their pricing is flat by design, everyone pays the same rate, and the seasonal promo blasts the big carriers run don’t really exist here. A partner promo code shows up once in a while, but you can only apply one code per order, and the referral code is the one that’s always available.
So if a coupon site is promising you 40% off oxio, it’s recycled link bait. The free month via referral code (RWWGYAB) is the real, working deal in 2026.
Which oxio plan should you pick?
Oxio sells speed tiers, not bundles, and the tiers available to you depend on the cable lines in your area. Roughly:
- 30 Mbps if you mostly browse and stream on one screen.
- 50 to 75 Mbps for a household that streams on a couple of devices at once.
- 100 Mbps if someone works from home, plays online, or you have kids with tablets. This is the sensible default for most families.
- 750 Mbps to 1 Gbps if you move big files around for a living or just like the number.
Whatever you pick, the referral code works the same way. The free month is a full month of whatever plan you chose.
Why I actually use oxio

No. The free month is for new oxio customers only. If you’re already with oxio, you have your own referral code to share, in the referral tab of your account.
How long is the oxio referral code valid?

Is oxio internet any good?
For me, yes. It runs on the same cable infrastructure as the incumbent in your area, so the speed is whatever that line delivers; what you’re changing is the company on top, the flat price, and the lack of contract. Is there a better oxio discount than the free month?
Not that I’ve ever seen. Oxio’s pricing is flat, and the referral program is their only ongoing discount. Any site advertising bigger oxio coupon codes is making it up.
